Florida Distressed Homeowners offered Thousands of Dollars from Bank Of America for short selling their Homes!

Certain distressed Florida homeowners can now get paid lucrative bonuses called relocation expenses for short selling their homes on a new program just rolled out by Bank of America.  The deadline for this program is November 30th, and the short sale listing must be registered with Bank of America BEFORE an offer is initiated.

This is very good news for many homeowners who may be delaying the process of selling their homes they can no longer afford. This is NOT the HAFA program, so the seller does not have to have a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac owned mortgage to get paid. One other stipulation is that the home must successfully close before August 30, 2012.

The exclusions to the program are if the mortgage is an FHA, VA, or USDA mortgage.  This cash bonus will be listed on the closing statement and the homeowner will receive the check at closing.  There is no stipulation as to how the money is to be used, so it  can be used for any reason the distressed homeowner sees fit.

If  the homeowner qualifies for a HAFA short sale already, the homeowner will not receive both the HAFA funds ($3000) and the cash bonus. However, the minimum received will be $5000.
